I’m writing this to ask if you would be interested to use your talent to support an important cause.

Mike Dring is an old school friend of mine, a really nice guy, but when he was 23 years old, broke his neck in a road traffic accident, resulting in paralysis from the upper chest down – medically he is classified as having a complete Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) resulting in Tetraplegia (level C6).

Mike’s friends and family are attempting to raise funds to purchase an adapted car which will enable him to drive independently.

Mike has always been a passionate Art dealer and collector, organising many exhibitions and has made many friends in the industry.

These friends and Artists have had the idea to mount an exhibition of work donated to raise funds for this cause, Artist confirmed as donating/creating work for the show so far are -

What we would like is ONLY a small postcard size work (A5) 15 x 21 cm, it can be anything you like, a painting or drawing on card, paper, board, canvas or anything you like, so long as it stays A5 size. All work would form a Mystery Postcard sale where buyers can purchase any piece for only £50. It is important that you sign the back of your work (NOT THE FRONT), so that the buyers do not know who the Artist is until after they’ve paid.

Many of the Artists already involved have international recognition and the event promises to be one of the major regional exhibitions of the year. The show is being arranged for September so please send work to -

by no later than August 21st. It may be advisable to pack the work well so that it doesn’t get damaged.
