This is so amazingly realistic...your mother must have loved it!

I think that maybe, however, it would have been better to do the shadows in the nose in a dark blue rather than the same kind green you used for the eyes...
Nostrils aside, it is a wonderful piece! And congrats on getting the DD!

I did a video instalation a couple of years ago and it was all about genetic resemblance. I had these images of my family morphing into one another. I found that taking everything except the bare features away helped it work, and liked the end result.

Wow, what a concept! It's nice to look at just the bare features, I get to focus on the things that show emotion and in a face. :D It must have taken a lot of hard work to do that video, I bet I'd be blown away if I were to watch it. I must say again awesome work!
