Although these days all I paint are people (as that's what gets me going)- this one is an illustration of the movements of the knight to each square on a board shown through the gradual changing of colours, from yellow- orange - red - purple - blue - green.
It starts at the second square top left and finishes on the square below. I have a plan somewhere!!

It was planned seperately through about 100 drawings then traced on to the canvas.
